Love your body, love your age

You're never too young to start

TERRY GILLARD - Personal Trainer

I help people improve their health and wellbeing through activity. Get fit for retirement was what I needed to do after 30 years behind a desk when my wife told me what she wanted to do in her retirement. In Gloucestershire one in five people do no activity at all. Many others don’t do enough to make a difference. Is that you? If it is, I’d like to help you start on your journey to improving your health and wellbeing.
We all need to build strength and balance activity into our daily lives. We can't rely on a daily visit to a gym, nor should we. I will help you and your friends and family to understand the benefits of staying strong, staying independent and staying healthy. I will show you some ways you can do this at home, at work and create opportunities in your leisure time. It’s made a big difference to me since I qualified as a personal trainer in my early sixties a couple of years ago. See the About Us page for more information. I’m running classes at Stonehouse Sports Centre for people just like you. Why not bring a friend? There are many proven benefits of working together; at least you will know someone in the class and you can support each other and have fun together. If you can’t persuade anyone to come along with you, don’t worry you’ll be very welcome to join us. If you prefer, I’m also able to work with you one to one or, if you and a friend would like to work together, one to two.
